Special Der Freylekher Shabes in Honor of Cantor Beth Cohen!

Celebrate Cantor Beth Cohen's 25 years of loving and spirited leadership of Nahalat Shalom. She has been here from the beginning, before we had the building, and has been the constant in our community. She has led us in song, prayer and music through Der Freylekher Shabes, High Holiday and other services. Cantor Beth created and continues to nourish our amazing Community Klezmer Band - not every synagogue has its own house band! And of course, she created and continues to bring world class Klezmer music and musicians to our community and all of New Mexico during the annual KlezmerQuerque Festival. Come join us as we honor Cantor Beth during Der Freylekher Shabes in May! Bring a memory, a story, a song & your dancing shoes!
