The Beit Midrash or House of Learning is the place where Jews gather to study, to chat, to pray, and to dive into the wealth of Jewish tradition. Grab a hevruta - study partner - or find one when you arrive! Student rabbi Josie will be hanging out in the beit midrash to help guide your self-directed learning. Is there a question you’ve always wanted to know the Jewish answer to? Have you always wanted to study a daf - page - of Talmud? Want to explore the week’s torah portion? Come and learn!
This is the LAST “official” rehearsal of The Nahalat Shalom Community Klezmer Band & Rikud Dancers of the Winter/Spring season. Sign up for Nahalat Shalom’s e-news and keep checking back on the web site for our occasional rehearsals on Sundays 3-5pm in May, June, July and August.
