Come sing and pray and enjoy the poetry with us! Prayers are in Ladino and Hebrew and led by Sofie Shefia Stephanie Cohen. We continue our three-month series of readings from the Zohar, in English and Spanish. The Zohar is a mystical commentary on the Torah, received by the Spaniard Moses de León at the end of the thirteenth century. It is written as a series of poems. This month we will be reading “Is There Anyone Like Moses?”

Be prepared to share your response to this beautiful poem which will be read out loud in English and Spanish. If you are able, please show up early and or stay late to help set up and clean up. And bring a vegetarian dish to share!
