Nahalat Shalom Community Safety Team Training for the High Holidays - Introductory Session

  • Nahalat Shalom 3606 Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest Albuquerque, NM, 87107 United States (map)

Join us to see what we are all about!

As a group, we get together and practice in person in preparation for our safety team work.  At our kick-off orientation meeting on May 17, we will share bagels, fruit and coffee, talk a bit about foundational values and team structure, and engage in play and practice.

If you are intrigued but can’t join us May 17 (or just want more information), we invite you to have a 1-1 with a person from our team. The purpose of this time is to get to know each other, share our baseline values and commitments, build continuity, and answer questions.

The Nahalat Shalom Community Safety Team grew out of the Racial Justice Committee with the foundational value of making our community more safe and welcoming to all Jews and Allies across race, ability and identity. We’ve been working together for over 5 years learning and connecting, and are excited to bring in more people to maintain the continuity and connectedness of our vibrant crew. We share a vision of being able to partner with other communities in working together to keep ourselves supported and safe.
