A Pilgrimage for Our Shared Home—now underway!

On Monday, January 12, a small intrepid group from NM Interfaith Power and Light set forth from Carlsbad, traversing the oil fields and the open range on foot all the way to the Roundhouse, where they will arrive on Thursday, February 5.  There are many ways to support the Pilgrimage, follow along and get involved!  We can join them for some part of the trip and I hope many of us will hike the last 5-6 miles to the Roundhouse (RSVP and share with others)!  They will be carrying written hopes, dreams, and prayers to our legislators, and you can add yours.

This pilgrimage is both confessional and prophetic — a call to act with courage, integrity, and love for our shared home. It is a journey of hope, learning, and community — witnessing that a more just and sustainable future is already taking root.

Nahalat Shalom’s Green Team is growing, and the just and sustainable future we want is taking root in our community and shared spaces!  Let’s support this NM-IPL Pilgrimage for Our Shared Home to strengthen our networks and spread this prophetic message.  Let’s pray with our feet and keep moving forward together
