Our meaningful and participatory seder led by Cantor Beth Cohen and Maggidah Batya Podos. It’s the only seder we know of with a live klezmer band accompanying our songs and prayers from the Haggadah. Dance with Rikud dancers to our many prayers, through the Red Sea and to “Das Tsigele/ Had Gadyu” (“Had Gadya” in Yiddish) at the closing of the seder.
Please bring your own 5 ritual food items for the seder plate (and your own seder plate if you wish): - roasted egg, -shank bone/beet/ or “sacrificial yam”, -parsley or spring green, -bitter herb/green/or horseradish, -charoset, - and your favorite Kosher for Passover Matzoh.
NAHALAT SHALOM WILL PROVIDE Haggadahs, paperware and utensils, cups, napkins, some kosher for Passover matzoh, parsley, salt water (for dipping) and grape juice.
Please also bring a vegetarian, pescatarian (kosher fish) or vegan Kosher for Passover dish to share for the pot-luck dinner.
