Off Center Community Arts in Albuquerque sponsored the creation of over 65 fabric squares by different artists about the experiences of refugees. With beginnings at a small workshop, word quickly spread to dozens of other participants resulting in the Refugee Blanket Exhibit, which has been at 17 venues since 2017. Nahalat Shalom is proud to hang this exhibit, which builds on our own community art project and exhibit last year "Welcome the Stranger - We Were Strangers Too."
