Bio Rachel Herzig
Rachel Herzig has mixed feelings about bios, which tend to render doings more than beings. Nonetheless, in traditional bio-speak, she is an artist, activist, spiritual director, and thinker. She holds an MFA and an MS, and is pursuing an PhD grounded in performance ethnography. Rachel is a former multifaith college chaplain and environmental health and justice NGO leader. Fifteen years ago her life altered dramatically when environmental illness came waltzing in. Her current work centers on our entanglement with the more-than-human world.
