Cheder Religious School: Cheder will lead a Day of Service.

This year we will be serving our own community with a day of working in the garden and grounds, and inside the building to take care of our shul. We’re inviting community members to join us from 10 am to noon. Our students will provide some warm food and we invite you to bring some as well so we can “brunch” together before we end at noon.

Key components of our program include: Holiday Customs and Rituals; Mitzvot; Torah; Jewish Values; Prayer and Service; Social Justice; Hebrew; · Jewish Culture, music, and crafts.

Sukkot Celebration

Join our Cheder Religious School families to put up and decorate the sukkah!

We are in need of schakh (the greenery we put on the roof of the sukkah), plus all kinds of decorations—gourds, fruit, Jewish symbols. Bring a vegetarian potluck dish to this inter-generational event and fulfill the mitzvah of eating in the sukkah! You don’t want to miss this joyous community preparation for Sukkot.
