with Casa Sefarad and Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb
Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb will share Sephardic and Mizrahi stories from around the world on the theme of liberation. Evening includes Sephardic Sabbath evening prayers, kosher-for-Passover vegetarian pot luck meal and Rabbi Lynn's storytelling.
Saturday Evening, APRIL 15 at 7pm: WORLD BEYOND BORDERS Passover Storytelling, Conversation and Book Signing
Join Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb for an evening of social justice storytelling based on her new Passover Haggadah, which she wrote and illustrated. Her Haggadah and art work will be for sale.

Lynn Gottlieb, one of the first women to become a rabbi, is a pioneer Jewish feminist, activist, writer, visual artist, ceremonialist, community organizer and master storyteller. Lynn practices and teaches the Art of Jewish Resistance at Shomeret Shalom Rabbinic School & Global Congregation in Berkeley, CA. She has been engaged in multi-faith, multicultural, & intergenerational peacebuilding for decades and was the founding rabbi of Congregation Nahalat Shalom, serving there from 1981-2005. Lynn currently serves a board member of Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity in California, and on the Rabbinic Council of Jewish Voice for Peace. Her books include She Who Dwells Within, Trail Guide to the Torah of Nonviolence, Peace Primer II, & A World Beyond Borders Passover Haggadah. She illustrated the book: Healing Mama, written by Amanda Nube. Lynn’s recent trips to Standing Rock and Nine Mile Canyon, Utah are part of a longer commitment to Indigenous sovereignty rights. She has led several delegations to Iran and Israel/Palestine with the Fellowship of Reconciliation. Lynn is very funny.
