Minyan Service with Cantor Joann Rice
Saturday, March 25, 2017, 10:00am - 11:30pm
Contact NS Office 505 343 8227

Cantor JoAnn Rice leads this minyan service. The future of Judaism is beautifully expressed by the image of a tent. Several poles are needed to support the tent, each representing a different style of worship. This is not a Reconstructionist or Conservative tent. Neither is it Reform, nor Renewal. It is a Jewish tent.

A new siddur was compiled by Cantor JoAnn Rice especially for Nahalat Shalom. The goal is to bring people together to make a minyan, rather than to favor any one movement.
This service will include a lot of congregational singing, a fair amount of Hebrew (with transliteration and translation), some English readings, and a Torah reading. A 1.5 hour limit will be loosely enforced. Join us under the tent!
