| The Arts Nahalat Shalom has a unique relationship with Jewish and secular arts. We integrate the arts into our community so that each member has the opportunity to create our collective ceremonial life. More than three dozen congregation artists have translated Jewish experience through performing arts, calligraphy, sculpture, photography, woodworking, painting, pottery, fabric, and other creative media. Nahalat Shalom has sponsored collaborative shows, including the Simcha Jewish Arts Festival, the children's arts mentorship program, and several art openings. We enjoy a variety of Jewish music and dance reflecting our diverse heritage: Israeli, Sepharidic, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
